Pilot study July - October 2017

Main study July 2018 - February 2019

In tandem with the practice research Carolyn worked with two different groups of women aged eighteen to thirty-five who had little or no experience of aerial circus. Carolyn developed an aerial circus programme that involved the cultivation of digital media skills, including photography, videography, graphic design and blogging interconnected with physical training. This research consisted of two programmes: one pilot study July – October 2017 working with six women, and one main study July 2018 – February 2019 working with eight women. This video provides a short overview of both programmes.
